General Terms

  1. This warranty service is valid exclusively within Malaysia and is governed by the laws of Malaysia.
  2. This warranty applies only to manufacturing defects that arise during normal household and domestic use.
  3. The warranty is strictly applicable only to products purchased from authorized Livinox dealers.
  4. The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and the original product installation location. This warranty is non-transferable and is void if resold. Lost registration details or physical warranty cards (if applicable) will not be replaced.

Warranty Activation and Claims

To process your warranty claim, the following conditions must be met:

  1. Product Registration: Your Product(s) must be registered with Livinox at www.livinox.my before a warranty claim may be processed. Therefore, it is important to
register your Product(s) promptly upon purchase. Livinox Malaysia Sdn Bhd shall not be held liable if the authorized dealer fails to notify you of the registration requirement or if you fail to register your Product(s).
  2. Registration Period: Products must be registered within thirty (30) days from the date of purchase.
  3. Proof of Purchase: You must provide a valid proof of purchase for the Product(s) when making a claim. You will be required to provide your proof of purchase and any supporting document as may be requested by Livinox Malaysia Sdn Bhd in order to process your warranty claim.
  4. Claim Documentation: When making a warranty claim, you must present the original Proof of Purchase and, if applicable, the Warranty Card (for products that include one). Livinox Malaysia Sdn Bhd reserves the right to charge for or refuse warranty service if these valid documents are not provided.

Conditions That Void the Warranty (Exclusions)

The warranty will be void or subject to service charges, even within the warranty period, if any of the following conditions are met:

  • The product’s serial number has been defaced, altered, destroyed, or removed.
  • The product has been tampered with, misused, damaged due to negligence, transit damage, or damage occurring at the customer’s premises.
  • The product has not been installed or operated in strict accordance with the operating or instruction manual.
  • The product has been repaired, modified, or disassembled by unauthorized personnel.
  • Defects result from abnormal voltage, improper power supply (from the mains or generator), or improper use of a voltage regulator.
  • Defects or losses arise from force majeure events, including but not limited to acts of God, civil unrest, strikes, lockouts, fires, explosions, natural disasters (like lightning and flooding), pollution, household pests, inability to obtain spare parts, or any other events beyond the control of Livinox Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
  • Defects are caused by chemical reactions, rust, excessive heat, excessive dust, or corrosive environments (e.g., cement factories, animal farms, or the use of acidic/alkaline cleaning agents).
  • The claim involves the replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear during regular use, including accessories.
  • The claim involves external cosmetic damage to parts, including but not limited to cabinets, joints, scratches, and aging.
  • The service requested is for routine maintenance, which is chargeable and not covered under this warranty.

Limitation of Liability and Service

The liability under this product warranty is strictly limited to the repair and/or replacement of defective products only. This warranty does not cover any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential losses or damages arising from the use of the product.

  • Livinox Malaysia Sdn Bhd, at its sole discretion, may elect to either repair the product or replace it with an equivalent product.
  • Livinox Malaysia Sdn Bhd reserves the right to use new or reconditioned parts from various manufacturers for repairs. Any parts removed during the repair or replacement process shall become the property of Livinox Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
  • Please be advised that repair times may be extended if required parts are subject to import restrictions or are otherwise unavailable.
  • Livinox Malaysia Sdn Bhd reserves the right to amend or modify these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.
